Łysa Góra with a height of 365 meters above sea level it is located on the east side of the city. It owes its name to the treeless area on which it stands. The massif is composed of Precambrian gneisses and migmatites. At the top there is a concrete pole, signifying the highest point of the mountain. It offers a beautiful panorama of the town with views of Sowie Mountains. Together with nearby peaks - Żmija and Dzikowiec - Łysa Góra is very popular among fans of extreme sports, i.e. Paragliding, motocross and mountain biking. Before the war, gliders took off from this mountain. In this area, you can meet xerothermic plants, including the protected Carlina acaulis.
